Zehner Editing and Consulting has been providing editorial and manuscript consulting services since 2004. Prior to that, for several years Dr. Zehner headed the Southeast Asia Publishing program at Northern Illinois University, including editorial supervision of the program's monograph series, its journal Crossroads, and The Journal of Burma Studies.
Dr. Zehner is a published author and scholar, with articles appearing in Social Compass, The Journal of Southeast Asian Studies, Social Compass, Missiology, EMQ, International Journal of Frontier Missiology, and Anthropological Quarterly.
Dr. Zehner has also taught anthropology, Southeast Asian Studies, and composition at the university level. He has edited manuscripts in fields ranging from anthropology to history, international development, political science, literary criticism, and other humantities and social sciences. Primary area focus has been Southeast Asia, but has also included Tibet, Korea, the Middle East, and Latin America.
