Responsible for directing a mostly self-supporting publishing program.  This included handling all aspects of the program from manuscript assessment and editing to advertising, customer relations, budgeting, business management, and oversees promotion. Also served as editor of The Journal of Burma Studies and Crossroads: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Southeast Asian Studies.
