Experience Edwin Zehner | Marcia Wilson | Contact Edwin Zehner, Zehner Editing and Consulting Edwin Zehner is a Southeast Asia specialist possessing a Ph.D. in anthropology from Cornell University. For several years he headed the Southeast Asia publishing program at Northern Illinois University, in which capacity he also edited The Journal of Burma Studies and Crossroads: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Southeast Asian Studies. He is an active scholar who has published on religion in Thailand (both on Christians and Buddhists). He also has prior experience working in a variety of business and not-for-profit settings.
Marcia Wilson, Advantage Editorial Services Marcia Wilson has five years experience working as a freelance copy editor and proofreader for book publishers, authors, doctoral students, and nonprofit agencies. She has extensive experience in the fields of nonfiction as well as fictional work and in working with hard copy or electronic copy. Publication classes at the University of Chicago honed skills acquired through basic college classes and her work experience in the fields of education, medicine, and retail. In Marcia’s 20 years of experience in desktop publishing, she has developed, designed, written, and edited newsletters for nonprofit agencies, from voluntary health agencies to churches to historical societies. Wilson also has experience in the development of brochures and booklets as well as educational materials for the layman. As a project coordinator she has worked with committees and authors on multi-authored projects, producing medical journals, educational booklets and a book of county history, which is still in production.
